I am going to buy a new one. I never considered repairing it for $300+.

When I asked the Russians about whether the $425 repair was guaranteed to fix it, I just did it to figure out if they were really confident with their diagnosis, or if they were just guessing at my expense. Obv was the latter, as I expected.

Regarding a new dishwasher, amazingly all of the reviews I am reading suck for pretty much every dishwasher. Even the ones with positive reviews have enough negative reviews (such as it breaking down quickly) to where I'm afraid to buy them.

If anyone has any dishwasher suggestions (preferably one you've owned for 18 months or more), please let me know.
