I agree with you that the government should never get involved with telling broadcasters who to fire.

I don't like it any more than you do.

I actually think ABC suspending him would have been warranted on its own, but not because of government pressure.

Oh, and Jimmy Kimmel also was once mean to our own Master Scalir. When Ken couldn't make a KROQ event in 1995 where he was planned to be participating, his mom called and told them he wouldn't be able to be present. Kimmel, then a KROQ employee, was on stage outside and asking if everyone was there, and an assistant said, "Ken isn't here. His mom called and said he can't come." Kimmel responded, "What? Ken's mom called and said he CAN'T CUM?"

The crowd laughed. I felt bad for Ken.

Despite this, Ken still opposes Jimmy's suspension 30 years later.
