I suppose I’ve been very lucky. But I don’t know anyone personally who’s ever had trouble with them.
Spirit and some of the other budget airlines are complete garbage. Southwest has been nothing short of amazing for me.
In fact SW is rated as the 2nd best airline overall in the US!

Yes, if you bring your expectations WAY low, and know what you're getting into, I suppose that's fine. But people really seem to expect that they're getting just a "no frills" airline for a much cheaper price, and it's far beyond that.Quote:

There's some variation in first class on some domestic airlines, but IMO all domestic airlines are awful and I never bother to go for one over another, especially now with a kid and every flight is horrible beyond imagination regardless.
Huge differences obv when flying internationally in terms of space, comfort, food, etc.

Do run the risk of shittier passengers.
Still usually go with one of the big ones but would jew it up for a significant price break, especially now paying for three and being the asshole with a kid.
