Biden was in between Trump. It is basically the same 9+ year period, and I think it is pretty petty and dishonest to try to argue Biden was good and Trump bad (or vice versa).

Do you think Druff has done poorly the last 9 years? I know I haven't. There might be a reckoning coming; but my entire upper middle class friend/family social circle has had a good run economically since Trump took office. Even 2020-2021 was fine economically; although who knows what the effects of my kids not being in school for almost 2 years will be.

Like I said, a reckoning may be coming. But for all the online doomerism, once you step offline everything seems to be going fine for every upper middle class (and higher) person I know. Even the Jewish people I know all seem to be doing fine economically, although the ones who are active in left wing spaces are becoming social pariahs, causing angst.

Everyone I know with the capability to do well has done well straight from two years into Obama until present.

No I think Druff is fine, but he probably has a few niche interests in wealth preservation that doesn’t apply to your description of anyone with a good job and a few $.

He certainly may fare better with Trump.

But Trump not addressing debt is certainly why the dollar is so weak, and he is certainly responsible to the working class having less disposable income which is an impetus to broader prosperity. Had he addressed debt while cutting the working class entitlements, at least there would be a benefit demonstrated in the bottom line. He’s made poor choices this term. He’s helped the top .001% at the expense of the broader economy.
