Yup, I keep citing the Soleimani thing as an example of Trump handling Iran perfectly (and against the advice of a lot of so-called "experts"). He ordered a longtime dangerous terrorist, who also was a general in Iran, killed in a military strike. He basically dared Iran to do anything about it, and indeed they were too scared to escalate, and instead did some lol symbolic response where they warned the US beforehand that they fired a few rockets at a base. If a Democrat were President at the time, Soleimani would still be alive and killing westerners.
Many forget this, but the Soleimani thing was ultimately judged as a Trump success, and he hit his highest odds of reelection at that point, -190, right after this occurred. Then COVID hit, and it all changed.
You can't negotiate with terrorist-supporting regimes. They only understand force and consequences. And the regimes which actually are terrorists, such as Hamas, simply need to be destroyed. Hamas was a ticking time bomb. I knew this as soon as they took over Gaza. Something like this was just a matter of time, but not for the reason a lot of apologist leftists are saying. It's because Hamas is a group of religious fundamentalist terrorists, and their goal is to kill all Jews and destroy Israel. They should have never been left in power, and the only proper solution at this point is to kill them.
