Thanks for the update.
Now that Tropicana Atlantic City is part of Caesars, does earning points there go towards Diamond?
Or are they still on their own system?
Update on Harrah's Lake Tahoe
9-6 Jacks or Better 8-50 play is now $0.50 minimum for 9-6. ($0.25 was previously 9-6, is now 9-5). My partner and I both Diamond in a Day'd at this machine earlier today thanks to the 5x Tier Credit bonus that Caesars is running this weekend. Luckily we both hit one Royal (which requires a hand pay at $0.50/hand 50 play), but that variance at $0.50 is pretty tough to swallow.
Has anyone noticed anything about the usual comp nights you get every 5K tier credits (Up to 7). I earned two but lost the email with the codes. They can’t find them when I call them on the phone. I use to try and use these at Caesars Palace on weekend nights to maximize the equity. Have they taken the benefit away?
I believe it's only for 5k tiers you earned in the calendar year.
But if you did earn 10k tiers in 2021, call up Caesars Palace and ask for "casino services", and talk to them about it. Alternatively, see if you can reach Caesars Rewards, even if through the contact form on caesars.com.
Thanks Druff. They are for sure from this year, shortly after I hit 10K. I was speaking to someone in the states and they couldn't find it. Hopefully was just a shitty agent and I'll get someone better on the phone next time. Would really suck if they took away the benefit I do remember getting the email.
I just called this morning and was informed that the 2020 "tier night rewards" were extended to 1/31/22 because of COVID.
So you'll get a night for every 5k you earned in 2020, as well. However, there are apparently a lot of blackout dates, which sucks.
Call the hotel operator and ask for "casino services" to book. Do not call reservations.
Someone pending validation to this site actually found my email and sent me the codes. Thanks very much. I’ll put the codes below and I think everyone can use their imagination for the other 5 nights if they reach those milestones.
So you don’t waste an hour like I did on the phone….here is the deal with these nights…I used to get a weekend at Ceasar’s Las Vegas in a nice room with these. That is no longer happening. Looks like every Friday/Saturday are blacked out in both AC & Vegas for the time being. I think Vegas may stay that way but once it gets cold in Atlantic City, towards the end of the year, they may make those nights available.
Code won’t work online. Have to call. You can book back to back nights but they will be separate reservations. They’ll sort that out at the Hotel. You also don’t have to worry about the 48 hour between promo rule at least. You can tack this on to the end of another stay as long as they are weeknights.
Thanks again to that soon to be PFA member. Here are the codes. They are the same for anyone who has hit the target.
BECAUSE YOU EARNED: LET US OFFER YOU:
5,000 Tier Credits 1 FREE NIGHT
CR50001N1
10,000 Tier Credits 1 FREE NIGHT
CR10KT1N1
Silver Legacy-Reno has two $.05/$.10/$.25 50 play 9/6 JOB and one $.01/$.02/$.05/$.10 100 play 9/6 JOB in a bank near the cashier's cage on the main floor.
All three machines are $10/tier credit. All three Downtown Reno ROW properties are now fully integrated into the Caesars Rewards system, and give the appropriate TC bonuses.
The only annoying thing about these is that the countdown doesn't appear on the screen, so you have to manually keep track of your coin in.
Well, Hilton stopped matching, I think, so I got a Wyndham Business card, still a $100 or so annual fee and just got matched to Diamond in about a week. Not just Diamond--- Diamond Plus.
This was an amazing deal with Hilton, as I got 2 celebration dinners which at least matched the Hilton fee (plus mile bonuses etc.) Now Wyndham has similar mile bonuses (I don't know about the hotels, but you can transfer those credits to Caesars, and I'm sure I can find something to use them on)
Jumping the poker line is most key...
I guess if your credit is decent, spend the money, get the card, jump the line... profit?
What is Diamond Plus worth besides the celebration dinner and jumping the poker line (and no resort fees)? Those three are worth way more than enough for me.
Diamond and Diamond Plus are very similar, except Plus gets you into the VIP (Laurel) Lounges.
Here's a list of benefits: https://www.caesars.com/myrewards/benefits-overview
Wyndham status match still works. If you were Wyndham Diamond in 2021, you are still in 2022. They extended it.
Caesars will re-match you.

In the few places that still have Laurel Lounges. AC still does but I’m not sure where else they do. Obviously Vegas isn’t reopening them with the spaces being renovated.
This is where Daryl would have been helpful.
The fact is there isn’t much reason for anyone to support Caesars anymore, and really hasn’t for years.
Is it worth it to upgrade to Diamond Elite?
While I don’t know how it works in Vegas casinos, in a lot of tri state area casinos you can rack up tier points by playing high limit Baccarat without playing many hands! As long as the table has a decent amount of players, find out who the degen is and let them bet every hand. All the focus will be on them and you can sit back and watch while getting rated for the table stakes.
You will need to keep up appearances like buying in For $1000 or more and pretending to get excited when the table wins. But if you place 3 or 4 bets per shoe, you not only have a decent chance to profit but your tier rating will go up quite a bit. You may want to keep a baccarat scorecard handy and fill out or pretend to while sitting out hands.
Looks like they are laying the hammer down on the Wyndham status match.
According to a Facebook group I read, they made a new rule today that if you didn't earn your last Wyndham status, you can't match it to Caesars, or vice-versa. They're doing this to prevent perpetual matching back and forth.
Atlantic City was the last bastion of Diamond lounges left in the merged Caesar's empire.
sadly, it recently got butchered.
caesars got rid of the Diamond lounge at caesars AC, and tropicana ac's diamond lounge is now drinks only. no food.
that leave's harrah's as the last real diamond lounge in ac.
and it's no longer a buffet like pre-El Dorado take over.
1 appetizer and 1 cheap entre.
so it looks like even Diamond Plus is no longer worth it.
Just get base diamond to get the resort fees waived.
