And while I can't say if the boyfriend had also been drinking, I can say that he was calm and didn't sound drunk at all. The girl sounded completely smashed, despite protesting, "I'm not fucking drunk!" at one point, when he accused her of being drunk.

Also note that she didn't accuse him back of being drunk.

I'm assuming she probably hammered the alcohol really hard and became and angry drunk, whereas her man probably didn't drink or had relatively little.

I remember having a certain friend whose relationship/marriage featured that situation time and time again. Some of you might know him.

Tried to go to sleep last night at the Rio, and usually that's not a problem because I'm smart enough to get a "no connecting door" room, and the walls are thick (one good feature of the Rio).

However, there was a LOUD argument occurring in the room next to mine, to where I could easily hear something. I couldn't make out all of the words, but I could hear a girl drunkenly yelling at her boyfriend, and him responding.

I got up and put my ear to the wall, and the fight was about... Trump.

The girl was clearly very drunk, and she was ranting about what an awful person Trump was. She even dropped a hackneyed, "He's not my President", and kept giving a hard time to her boyfriend for "defending him".

The boyfriend was trying to remain calm, and kept saying to her, "I'm not saying he's a good person, but I'm judging him as a President, and I don't think he's as bad as you say."

She freaked out and started screaming at him. "I don't know enough about him as a President! I can admit I'm ignorant on that subject. He's a terrible person! I judge someone by what type of person they are and he's terrible! And you sound like you're defending him!"

He replied, "I told you, I'm not defending him, it's just when it comes to a President, you...."

"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? You made us have our 4th fight because you want to defend Trump! Oh my God!", she yelled.

Then she started yelling, "You're such an asshole! You yell at me, you hit me, you insult me... you're always such an asshole to me!"

Obviously I don't know if the guy really hits her, but he was incredibly calm through all of this and clearly wasn't getting physical with her in any way. He just kept trying to get her to cool down, but she repeatedly called him an asshole.

Without any kind of closure to the argument, there was suddenly dead silence. Like, the argument just stopped cold after she kept calling him an asshole. I couldn't even hear any talking with my ear to the wall.

She either passed out or he finally killed her.

I wonder how many relationships Trump has ruined.

Moral of the story is not to bring your angry drunk girlfriend with you to the WSOP.

Both sounded in their 20s, by the way.
