There are 2k Capitol police. The mayor asked for the NG the day before. Trump said no. So we were left with a handful of cops with revolvers and handguns in every video I saw. Do you think they rush that above picture? It’s a deterrence. Even as they ran the halls, Trump said no, so Pence ordered the NG, which shut it down.
