This post actually highlights an irony with white Jews involvement (in many cases at the forefront) in the cultural Marxist SJW movement. In their eyes they are part of the struggle for equity for all victimized minorities. From a theoretical perspective I don't even have a big problem with the concept of meaningful reparations (like ~50K or something). But I think from a practical perspective it would be done in such a way as to fuck over the middle class and benefit the rich. And I think most of the people who receive it would also end up worse after they blew through it all.
From a utilitarian perspective I think reparations would be a great boon to the Socal live poker scene, and probably a lot of other gambling related ventures.
I think I fall in the Druff zone on this one. Obvious this was done for the press it would garner. I suppose on the other side if I held a Jewish Reparations gathering and asked German Nazi's not to show up but to donate I would be run off the planet .

Right now things are good. But there is a substantial underground anti-semitic right wing movement that blames Jews for pretty much everything. There are a lot of guys that think like FPS does. Also, there is a pretty substantial anti-semitic undercurrent in college campuses in the US right now. It is based on the Israel-Palestinian conflict, but the students/staff responsible for the criticism don't really make a distinction between Israel, Zionism or Jews. It is kind of all lumped together, right or wrong. The way things are going with all the ideological radicalization of our country, and both radical fringes having a lot of antisemitic undercurrents, things could get ugly fast.Are you joking? And I agree with Lord of Fraud that Jews need to chill out playing the victimization card. As a group, Jews are doing great in the Western world, much better than pretty much every other "identity group" and to keep playing the victim card based on shit that happened before any of us were even born is just brewing a lot of resentment.
Meh. Except for Germany, where it is real easy and effective to play the Holocaust card for obvious reasons, I don't think the "anti-semitism card" is influencing policy too much. I think the US's seemingly unconditional support of Israel, especially the Trump administration which is way too cozy with Likud, has more to do with squashing any political efforts to pressure Israel to act more humanely.
It also doesn't help the cause of the people of Gaza that their elected government is a terrorist organization controlled by Tehran that has less regard for the lives and well-being of Palestinians than Israel does, and is impossible to work with diplomatically.
They're also skimming a bunch off international aid and using it to buy Mercedes and other luxuries and weapons.Meh.
