I own a car and am not in favor of banning cars generally. but i don't get why we allow big cars to be owned in this country, as they have the power to turn bad wrecks into what we saw in paris a few weeks ago. the only reason huge trucks have not already been banned is the need for them is such a ridiculously powerful special interest lobby (i.e. the swamp)

completely off topic but why do people still own cars in 2017? pretty sure its cheaper just to uber everywhere

Total autonomy, don't have to wait for some possible rapist who is just advancing a technology that will make him/her obsolete in the not too distant future.
