Connor tapping Floyd basically doesn't count

So Connor throws 50 punches, 40 of them hit Floyd's gloves are all ignored by the judges. Then 9 of them are love taps and 1 clean punch.

Floyd throws 10 punches - lands 4-5 power punches

Floyd wins the round.

That's how boxing is scored.

Exactly, Conor didn't land a meaningful shot after the first couple rounds. Floyd walked straight forward and landed power shots. People don't know what they are watching.

10 point must, so you basically have to flip the round or score it 10-8 if you think the person was already winning the round.

Round 2 and 3 had quite a few rabbit punches and wouldn't surprise me if the refs penalized Connor for that.

I gave 2 and 3 to McGregor but they weren't that lopsided and Mayweather while landed less controlled the ring and landed some shots. What does it matter? It wasn't a close fight and Mayweather got him out of there.

Scorecards were definitely a joke to some point but Floyd owned him on the stats.

A lot of what Conor threw was blocked or barely grazed Mayweather. Conor could have lost a point or more for his rookie mistakes so I don't have a problem with it.

Whenever they can give a round to Floyd which is any of them after the first three in this fight imo then they will because they want to protect his legacy and not make the sport of boxing look silly.

Agreed as did CBS Sports.. Also how the hell can they score it a 10-8 rnd without a knockdown at least.. I thought that was a given.. I mean even in MMA a 10-8 rnd is only a given if there is a major knockdown or a submission attempt usually that is credible..
