Writing up numbers based on historical context is not a prediction. What it basically means is that the vast majority of voters over that 120,000 number were a first time Republican Party registrant.

I did predict Cruz would win and I posted that when everyone laughed at me and I won a whole bunch of money on PredictIt.
To be fair Trump did get a record number of registrations and that continued throughout the election. Trump winning still boils down to the Republican Party being unable to get their shit together and get people to drop out to face Trump one v one.
