Seriously, though. Romney has been vetted and is the polar opposite of Trump, personality wise. His agenda is unpopular, but not as unpopular as Hillary is as a person.
However, changing Trump requires him to quit, not some sort of buyer's remorse from the RNC brass. So, not happening. They can meet all they want.
they've missed the deadline to remove trump's name in most states so the only possible option would be to hope trump gets elected (even if he drops out pre-election) and have the electoral college choose someone else
