When I think of where it could help him, the only important state that liked Cruz is Wisconsin. But a lot of the reason is that the strong conservative radio voices were all in on Ted. How they react will probably influence the race a small bit. I imagine that Charlie Sykes guy is super pissed as he was all Ted, but way too vocally anti-Trump to flip now. I'm pretty sure he's the biggest by a wide margin.
In general, its a pretty good break for Trump to help with that insane ultra-religious evangelical who might have a conscience(small group) I'm sure its almost entirely because of Mercer and Adelson telling him to get on train or they'd cut him off next election.
