Problem I hear is rake is too fucking high for zoom but lets just say per pot it's the same then they still are gonna crush it since way more hands will get dealt in the zoom format.

As for eliminating HU cash games I'm not that surprised. A lot of the nosebleed games are all 6 max except you might only see 2 or 3 people playing at once and the lower stakes games are FULL of bum hunters sitting there all day so that is one positive change to eliminating them.

I always thought they should have a HU cash game format where people must buy in for 100bbs and cannot leave until a number like 50 or 100 hands are played. The only exception is when someone busts they and only they have the option to rebuy into the game for 100bbs then play out the rest of the minimum hands if they choose to do so. If they leave then the other person who won can clearly leave now too since their match with that person is over. The person who wins can't immediately leave if the other person rebuys though. Topping off to 100BBs would be allowed.

You could also make it a random style where the person won't know who the opponent they are going to play is. Someone just registers for NL200 ($200 buyin game) and Stars RNG picks the opponent for them so it could be a fish or it could be a really good player they will have to play going my the fore-mentioned rules.
