Gare's pride and joy by the way.
This is the best Ohio State team we have ever had. The defense is out of this world.
I am hearing disturbing shit though. My buddy who is in the building says Carnell Tate, mocked as high first round pick while being our second best WR, that this calf injury that has kept him out for last few weeks is bullshit story.
My buddy says they are being super tight lipped, but he says he hears the truth involves drug test and gambling. I said both? He said that’s what he’s been told.
Drug test you can fade as far as future. Gambling you can not. I don’t know if there is a site where you can fade where a guy is drafted. I see no mention of this anywhere. My buddy is never wrong if he’s certain, but this is just what he’s hearing from those around team daily when he asked about calf injury and they laughed and said there is no real serious calf injury.

Aggies are the worst. Like seriously, the worst. Douchebag coach fits in perfectly there. I don't know what it is about that school, but it just attracts and breeds every midwit asshole in the state.
The Longhorns proved to clearly be the better team by the end of the game. I think ESPN analytics gave them an 8% chance to make the playoffs with the win, while the Aggies are still of course in - which is a joke.
The biggest problem is that 10 of the 13 highest power rated teams are in 2 conferences (SEC and Big 10), and they all have 2 losses or less except for Texas which lost a 3rd game in non conference road game at the highest power rated team. So to include the other conference winners, ND and a G5 we invariably are going to have to find some arbitrary reason to exclude some of these teams.
ND having no good wins (and a loss that hasn't aged well at Miami), but being so highly power rated and a great TV draw is another wrinkle there isn't going to be a fair solution for.
unlv a monster fuck you wolfpack give us the cannon
A&Ms SEC schedule turned out to be the easiest in history playing mostly bottom feeders…only Texas had a winning record. They did beat all those chumps but barely…squeaked it out vs Auburn, SC and Ark. so they do belong in the playoff but shouldn’t get a bye.
Texas on the other hand doesn’t belong at all, losing to Florida pretty much eliminates any argument in their favor…they also got their asses kicked by Georgia, losing to GA is no crime but 35-10…woof.

These are A&M's SEC wins and losses. Their only quality win on the year is a one point victory over Notre Dame, who as usual is getting by on brand rather than merit and might not actually be any good at all this year. It's obviously not the Aggies fault for being a bottom feeder, but they might not even be a ranked team if they played a few games against the other half of their conference. The larger point is even with twelve slots, they are still not putting the twelve best teams in, and they are punishing losses too heavily.
To use Texas as an example - how many teams that are likely in would be a dog on a neutral field to them? At least four or five? They donked off that game to the Gators, but the Gators are a talent deep team and earlier in the year had a 20-17 lead over Georgia in the fourth quarter and held second half leads over Ole Miss and Miami - they too were only down by three to A&M before collapsing in the fourth. SEC teams should all schedule East Carolina, Toledo, NMSU, etc. for their out of conference games and hope to get as lucky in the scheduling as the Faggies did this year. If Texas would have played UTEP instead of the defending national champions in their first game of the year, who they out gained 336 to 205 yards and could have beaten, they'd be in the playoffs.
And if the context wasn't clear - the joke is that after beating a supposedly top 3 team convincingly, along with the rest of their wins, the Longhorns still have no chance of making it while A&M are still a lock to get in.

A tale of two 10-2 teams:
One team beats the other team and ends up with an identical record, yet is a long shot to make the playoffs while the other is a lock - is this a joke too?
It doesn't invalidate their resume. But there are going to be 2 teams with resumes you can argue are just as good that dont make it. Just how this year worked out. Between the winner of the ACC title game and whatever G5 team makes it they are going to take the spot of 2 more deserving teams. It is what it is.
Ohio State will be playing Texas Tech for the NC at some point whenever they face them. If you’re looking for a sleeper pick outside Ohio State, Tech is the most legit team I saw. Real on both sides of ball. Lost one game with QB out.

Texas Tech looks flashy, but how are they going to fare the first time they play a real defense? It's the same Big 12 issue it's always been, only now they don't even play against the two premier programs that jumped ship.
