The other funny thing is that yes the most frequent scam accounts seem to be from India and Nigeria. This includes the holy bible account with 500k followers.... Basically these poor scammers raking in a shitload of money playing off of Christian nationalism.

There absolutely is a market but this is nothing new. Back in the day people were buying twoplustwo accounts for hundreds of dollars for credibility to run scams.

It’s also worth noting that a large amount of these foreign accounts didn’t change their name or became maga u til the summer of 2024…. Very few of these accounts being maga date back to before Elon bought twitter.

I mean Trump is very pro Israel, pro Jewish and pro H1b-immigration. So if you are a fake account that is constantly attacking Jews and (legal) immigration, you are pretty much anti-Trump by default, even if you never talk about him at all. And I would say the majority of fake accounts this is what they post about.

Look at all the X posts that Sonatine, Telafriend and Orko are constantly posting. This is what I am talking about. This completely overwhelms the fake pro Trump posts. And Elon has every incentive to try to tamper this down.
