Many think this is BS, and Phil is simply trying to get extra rest days added to the schedule.

Anyone who wants a break between the first 3 days can simply play flight 1C, which would provide an off day after day 1 and another after day 2.

I am an older person and don't find the Main too long or too difficult to concentrate. They should leave it as-is.

Last year was the exception, as I played it with COVID, starting from Day 2! Now that was tough!

It's unfortunate that they scheduled the $1,500 limit hold 'em on a Monday. It has been on a Thursday or Friday in recent years, which works much better for me. It looks like I will have to play a different event this series. This is really a bummer, as I only play one live tournament per year.

I may play event # 10, which is a $600 no limit hold 'em deepstack. Can someone confirm that this event is two back to back calendar days? It looks like it might be a turbo, which is fine by me. Druff, sorry I will miss you this year man. Good luck to all the PFA radio listeners who are playing the WSOP this summer.

In town warming up for next week. Had a nice little cash in the HORSE event at the Wynn today. First update:

You can no longer access the Horseshoe parking lot from Flamingo through the Horseshoe Valet/Reception area! It’s blocked. You can only access it via Harmon and Audrie (the back way), or the little access road on the Strip, that most people don’t know about.

Either way it will be worse than usual getting in and especially out at the end of the night.

Pro Tip: if you’re staying off property, park at the Cromwell. Trust me on this one.

I've played internationally and have had to use an app as part of a sign up in the past (Pokerstars Live), and whilst it was more streamlined and in theory should make things faster... I just don't think a venue like the WSOP is prepared to handle this stuff for mega fields.

Also apparently they have less TVs showing the clocks, as its in the app:

I was just in the Diamond line. Wait was 5 minutes. Then at the window another 5, registering for the first time. They take a photo of you and your ID. Heard of waits of up to 4 hours earlier in the day in the regular line.

Is it racist that the Filipino lady who verified my account put my country flag on the wsop app as the Phillipines flag, even though im.from.the usa, and now the app shows my flag as the Phillipines?

What if they made druff's the Israeli flag, or N-bomb Stanley the Nigerian flag? Seems kinda racist a lil bit

Ok so let me get this straight. They banned electronics when down to the last few tables. Made it very clear to try and avoid having phones on the tables and yet they expect people to have the WSOP App open on their phones at the table.. Who the hell is making these decisions

Zhou looks RIGHT at him when he 3bets. And dude didn't scan his cards (I am surprised the dealer/TD didn't make him go back to do so for the stream... they usually remind/request for a rescan)
