Lebron's genes got diluted, the kid took more after his non-athlete mom, and that's that.

I don't often share Atlantic articles, but this one about Bronny is a good one: https://archive.ph/vBDtC

I do feel a little bit bad for Bronny. He seems like a nice kid. He may not have inherited his dad's talent, but he also seems to have dodged inheriting Lebron's arrogance. I'm sure a lot of him wishes that he chose a different career path.
To grunch this point a little bit, Bronny did more or less get Lebron's athleticism, just 8 inches shorter. He is athletically (and phsycially sized) comp to an NFL football player; which is actually still extremely athletic. There are videos of him dunking in 8th grade.

My son is 13 and plays club basketball (at the much much lower suburban recreational level; not future D1 talent level). Even the big, athletic black kids no one is dunking yet. If his team played 13 year old Bronny, he would probably have been the best athlete they ever played against.

Lebron is a freak because he is 6'9" with the athleticism he has. If Lebron was 6'1" he wouldn't have been.

Bronny's main problem is that he doesn't have an elite point guard skill set, which is what you need to make it at 6'1" in the NBA. There are no 6'1" shooting guard/wings. Bronny didn't even play point guard in high school. Mac McClung is a comp of an insane athlete at the same size, but also didn't have the requisite skill set and never made it.

Ironically, Lebron's other son is much taller but actually didn't get the athleticism. He is still going to play D1 basketball (commit to Arizona), but no one is talking about him even being the talent Bronny was. If Bronny was the same height as the other son with his athleticism and skill set he would probably be a serviceable 3 and D NBA wing, if not better.

A local boy just bought the Celtics for $6.1b. The highest ever price for a franchise and they don't even own the Garden (Fleet Center). That belongs to the Bruins.

Joke league - some recent tickets I've had for Blazers games:

Lakers - Luka OUT (bullshit), LeBron questionable right up until tip. Sold tickets at value, LeBron ended up cooking.
Knicks - Brunson OUT (legit injury). Kept tickets, amazing game. Bridges hit dagger three at buzzer.
Grizzlies - Morant OUT (unsure). Ended up not going due to no Ja and being tired, ate tickets.
Nuggets (tonight) - Jokic OUT, Murray questionable, Gordon/Braun probable. I bet none of them play. Free tickets, probably won't even go.

Every national game I tuned into this week - stars out. Tired talking point and some bad luck for me but a legit problem for a declining league.

While some of these injuries are legit "humans are too in shape, break easier" like the elbows in baseball, a lot is just whining. Embiid summed it up well earlier this year, basically saying he doesn't care what fans think. Lol.

Should expand the in-season tourney to just make that....the entire season. 6-8 different in season tourneys. Luka and LeBron want a rest day of game one of a tourney, will if you lose you're finishing no better than 16th in that one.

Golf type scoring for playoffs, no conferences, just 1-16. Got 1st, 5th, 7th,15th, 3rd, 7th, 4th, 3rd in the tourneys? Probably a high seed.

Lol, in seriousness it completely revealed what is wrong about the city of Portland via Blazers Twitter not liking the signing simply because he's Israeli. Now he's good so no more vitriol, lol.

I was in Phoenix and thought it would be cool to go to a Lakers/Suns game, in the 2000s. Got some friends there together and we went.

We bought expensive seats, sat down, and noticed Kobe wasn't warming up. Turned out they decided to last-minute scratch him for "rest". Super annoying. This was before the days of load management, too.

0.0% I would have gone to this game if I knew Kobe wasn't playing, especially because this was in the post-Shaq era.

Cooper Flagg is really fucking good. That’s not ground breaking given half the league is tanking for him, but I didn’t realize how versatile he is. He’s the best white American in a very long time.

Can’t believe he’s still alive. Luka with 45/8/6 in return.

Phoenix now officially eliminated. They have the highest salary, yet couldn't even make the 10 seed, which (Dallas) at the moment is 4 games under .500.

That Beal contract was the beginning of the end.

The Suns have been 27-44 since starting the season 8-1.

    Joke franchise.

The Durant trade was an overpay but defensible, even though he's been a whiny bitch since everyone turned on him for joining GSW once upon a time.

Anyone that pushed for the Beal trade should be fired, especially with the no trade clause. Just an absolute disaster.

They'll get a piddling return for Durant and seem completely averse to trading Booker, their one asset with value. Basement dweller for years.

Over the past ten seasons (2015–2025), the Denver Nuggets have had one player selected to the NBA All-Star Game:
    • Nikola Jokić: Jokić has been selected seven times, beginning in 2019 and continuing consecutively through 2025. As of the 2025 All-Star Game, he was named a Western Conference starter, marking his fifth consecutive start and seventh overall selection.

Notably, during this period, no other Nuggets players have been selected as All-Stars. Jamal Murray has been a strong candidate, especially highlighted during the 2025 season, but has not yet received an All-Star selection.

Additionally, the Nuggets’ head coach, Michael Malone, has twice served as a coach in the All-Star Game, in 2019 and 2023.

    Apparently it is.

I thought jamal murray had to be an all star at some point, but apparently not. The rest checks out.
