Guy calls out flop, turn, river, including the final two by suit as well

I don't even know what to say about this.

He said "8-9-T" and it came exactly in that order. He then called 4s, and it came. He then called 2h and it came.

The weird thing was that 8-9-T wasn't even a flop he wanted... he was ahead with JJ > AJ, and gave his opponent chop outs!

In case you're wondering the odds of this, they're as follows:

On the flop, there are 48 unknown cards to choose from (we will ignore the QJ we saw on the stream, because we are simply going by what this guy knows about, which are AJ and JJ.)

He called out 8-9-T for the flop, and got it in that exact order.

There was a 4/48 chance of the 8, 4/47 chance of the 9, and 4/46 chance of the 10 coming in that order. So that's (4/48)*(4/47)*(4/46) = 0.0618% -- or about 6 in every 10,000 times you will call the flop right (ignoring suits).

However, there was also a 1/45 chance he would call the exact turn card and a 1/44 chance he would call the exact river card. So there's a 0.0505% chance of doing that -- about 5 in every 10,000 times.

There's an 0.0000312% chance of doing all of that. It would occur about once every 3.2 million times.

    So... yeah... super improbable.

Buddy of mine was playing on Pokerstars and picked up pocket 9s in early position. He was playing some tourney or other and was pretty deep. So he scrolls to the fold button and I'm like dude wtf are you doing you are fixing to flop quads here - he folded anyways. Of fucking course 2 nines flop. I mean sometimes you just shout out some shit and nail it, this guy just pulled off the magic trick of doing it on TV

It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

So, I actually did something like this but not to the same extreme about 5 years ago when playing at Big Easy Casino in Hallandale, FL. One afternoon I was playing NL and I flopped an Open ended Straight Flush Draw. BTW the board was paired. after a bunch of pre-flop raises and calls, Guy on my left raises all-in for about $250 and gets another call before I act. I "saw" my dream card coming and I thought about how to get the rest of the other caller's money. (he had approximately another $300 behind.) I acted like i was struggling with the decision but then raised all-in (i had him slightly covered). He snapped called and turned over a boat. Guy to my left had flopped Quads. Before the dealer dealt the turn and river, I apologized to the Guy on my left for what was about to happen. He smiled and said "Dream all you want. I told him it's not a dream and told him the exact card that was coming and that it came to me that it was coming on the river. When it came, his jaw dropped and he sat in a stunned stupor. And yes, I hit the high hand for the hour as well. He wasn't stunned about the $$$$, just the way I told him it was going to happen. On occasion, things flash in my brain a few moments before they actually happen. I've never been able to harness this "ability". Shit, I would quit my business and just play the stock market if that was the case. But, I didn't hope I would hit the 2 outer, I visually saw it coming. Kinda freaky, but true story. Not the only one who has this type of shit happen to them, and I'm guessing that they guy in the OP probably has something similar going on.

“Point of order” on all of this.

Calling the flop on this wasn’t really that big a deal. In this situation with these hands lots of people will spew out the most action posibility. In this case in this hand the T-9-8 was that. Not to be a dick but I would have said the same thing.

The turn and river calls are the amazing part of it.

I’ll be super dead honest here, I’ve done the same behavior in my life- predict an unexpected outcome. Some times it was cards. But the thing is I always dismiss it as luck or chance, not skill. It’s just a freak thing sometimes.

Yeah very good point. I've seen that type of thing called out before, where someone calls out an "interesting" flop, even one they don't really want to see.

I did find it funny that it came down exactly 8-9-T, not 9-T-8 or something.

The one I’m personally famous for is taking a PLO stab with 3-4-6-7 and calling for a 5 - followed by a flop
    Of 5-5-x.

That shit always seems to happen to me.

I don't make predictions...I actually see things sometimes before they happen. I have seen people in a vision or dream and met them for the first time later that day or the next. I have seen my number being called in a raffle BEFORE it was announced - this has happened on multiple occasions. I have seen cards coming BEFORE they are dealt and announced them before the dealer laid them out - both good cards that helped and 1 outers that toasted me. Again, these are not predictions. I actually see them in advance.

I believe you. When it happens to me, I dont even believe myself. The only game I play live where I have called some cards in the past is BJ. Im not bragging here either, just have randomly done it and explained it as freak accident. I think if youve been doing something long enough, instinct kicks in and thats the source, I dont really know. Again, not bragging here, but have called cards sometimes and freak myself out. I also think single and double deck BJ are easier to call on because you've been tracking the cards for the time of the play. I dont know, just speculating on all of this.
