Yes, but if the Democratic nominee is smart enough to change their name to "Not Trump" and just endlessly bash Trump every single day then they might have a chance.

As strange as it sounds, this might end up like the 2012 Republican Primary: Whoever doesn't beat themselves wins.

Warren seems to already have beaten herself with that silly DNA test.

Biden beat himself a long time ago with his Creepy Uncle Joe routine, along with tons of stupid shit he said in the past which will come back to bite him if he starts to seriously contend.

Beto is beating himself with generally peculiar behavior. It seems that the more he speaks, and the more we learn about him, the worse off his candidacy becomes.

The other haven't really beaten themselves yet, though Kamala Harris is kinda dogged with questions about sleeping with Willie Brown in order to advance her career, and Bernie may just be too old and socialist for the mainstream Democrats to embrace. Bernie also has the problem in that black people simply don't want to vote for him.

There just isn't a real clear frontrunner this time. That's where Mayor Pete may have a chance. Being a white male hurts him, as does his lack of experience. The gay thing won't help him all that much in the primary, as gay white males are actually thought to have privilege by many on the left. However, he might be able to win by simply remaining likable while everyone else around him melts down.

There’s some merit to what you are saying here about particular Dem candidates.

But the folks on here who are predicting that the Dems will be steamrolled by Trump are deluding themselves.

Because, in part, the Dems won’t nominate THE worst politician in recent Democratic Party history for the top spot.

Kamala Harris get dogged about Willie Brown? In the real news that story lasted 2-3 days,
Just proof Druff get his news from the fringe, (that and when he said w/authority that Hillary hates Chelsea.)
Also misogynistic, like he'd talk about Willie Brown like that, if he was in the circle.

Hypocritical, Joe Biden is creepy? 'If she wasn't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her' 'We both like Sex' Trump on Ivanka.
Trump has all Joe has and more, only w/actual sexual assault allegations.

There is a huge amount of denial by conservatives like Druff about how much the Dems’ choice of Hillary in 2016 damaged their chances against Trump. They won’t make that mistake again.

And Trump’s horrible-for-the-middle-class tax cut-for-the-rich, along with his admitted fuck-up on trying to repeal Obamacare, is going to swing a *lot* back to supporting the Dem candidate in 2020.

We are talking about the primary here, not how these candidates compare to Trump.

Also, lol @ your typical Bay Area SJW take above regarding Harris.

Kamala Harris is far younger than Brown, and she was banging him when she wasn't yet well known, yet he was. She's had political aspirations from the beginning, and it was very convenient that her choice of mate was a still-married older man who had a lot of power and name recognition in California politics.

You claim it's misogynistic that I bring this up, but that's just SJW nonsense. If a young, relatively unknown man with political aspirations banged a married older woman who was an established name in politics, yes, I would be saying the same thing about the dude sleeping his way into politics.

However, the reason males sleeping their way to the top doesn't tend to happen as often is because men have a far stronger sex drive in general. Therefore, it's harder for dudes looking to sleep their way to the top, even with older women, because women aren't as sexually driven as men. This is also why the people getting caught in sex scandals in politics tend to almost always be men. Or are you going to dismiss that fact as sexist, as well?

You guys aren’t even talking about the right stuff. As the self-proclaimed primary betting expert here at PFA, you can trust that I have already done my research, got opinions on which horses to bet on and some knowledge to drop on you all.

I need to finish handicapping the Santa Anita Pick 6 mandatory payout for tomorrow and sleep, but I will be back with the info.

Are you handicapping which racehorse will die there next?

Also, re DemRace2020, have you factored in the SNL effect?

The Dem 2020 nomination process is a completely clusterfuck already.. over 20 folks in the race which is laughable.. Already hearing Bernie supporters bitching claiming the DNC is trying to fuck him already (which is likely true guess the idiots didn't learn their lesson in 2016 that the DNC is highly undemocratic and the party power players are the ones who really pick the nominee and not the individual voters).

Anyone that claims it's obvious how this election is going to go down 16 months from now is delusional. Nothing is a foregone conclusion.

    I'm rooting for Pete though.

democrats have got to be out of their minds if they nominate anyone other than Tulsi, she is the only one who could appeal to moderates and independents. u can see this in her youtube videos. i signed up as a volunteer and now i get all their emails, and am in contact with their NH contact person on twitter and we send private messages. i was wondering how to get a shirt in the Phoenix area, but no one knows of a contact person in Phoenix. and of course i cannot order things via mail, seeing i could leave town any minute. no hurry though since ive won over $11,000 in the past month. ive given this casino wonderful publicly about what a great casino it is.

Tulsi says she wants to be the president for all, not just those who support her and her supporters dont like being pushed so far left and this makes her a little more moderate than ALL of the other democrats. the rest all support communism socialism, authoritarianism, stalinism, bernie and LIZ most of all. Biden is totally corrupt. tulsi is also suing google supports free speech and is against late term abortions up til birth, though like all democrats she is pro choice until late term. but u can see how she is so different than the other democrats. i hate seeing whats happened to the great democratic party around the time of JFK. id like to see it brought back to the center. this way if they ever gain power, they wont be as dangerous.

ive listened to tulsis town halls, many of them, which of course is a few hours worth of you tube videos once i return home from the poker room. in one she talks about how she first went to congress and how her family assisted in making hawaaian food for the staff of every republican in congress for them and for their staff. and how after that they were glad to talk with Tulsi on working together on representation she needed thier help to pass. everything is about how much she puts partisanship aside to work across the aisle. this is exactly what america needs. i certainly dont feel that way about the other far out left democrats and their supports and i feel like most people hate me in general just because i dont believe the way they do

Is there a revision of the Druff “Biden is the Democrats’ Best Hope” available for download?
