I don’t embrace the theocracy. But I also don’t think we should be going to war against them right now either, when they control the house and senate and a unstable maniac is the president. I really think we should get though the next 3 years with as little fuss as possible.

I hope at this point the young, brown and black people will be motivated to actually vote in 3 years and the Democratic Party can put up a legitimate candidate and we can out the trump era in the rear view mirror.

In the meantime let’s not start A civil war we don’t have to.

If he was elected for life and really was a dictator I get your point. But the way things are going he is probably gone in 3 years and 8 years max. Given that I don’t think risking the world going full jihad after Trump is worth it. But I fear No one in either side Is thinking clearly enough to see the long game. They are literally a wild pack of dogs who smell blood and in bloodlust.

trump goes out of his way to alienate half the country. it shouldn't be surprising that they not only want him to go down as the worst president in history, but leave in utter disgrace. he brought it on himself

the other side of that coin is 'how badly do you want this to end'.. he can literally roll out of bed at any point in the next 3 years and press the button. there was a period of time where i felt it made sense to avoid inflaming the militantly stupid types and let him toddle his way through an inept and impotent presidency.

but he seems totally oblivious to the table stakes he's playing at. i genuinely dont think he understands what the immediate effect of a north korean nuclear icbm would have on a populated city. ours or any other.

i think at this point, armed insurrection from team maga is one of the least destructive end games on the table.

Not sure what it is for poker players, but expect to pay 40-50% for the middle class. I work for John Deere, came over here for a 1 year project, got married and never left. Still going back once a year though.

As I have stated in other threads, I think all the roadblocks thrown up by the media and various other groups have inflamed the situation too much and raised the stakes too high needlessly. I think too many people want this presidency to fail too bad and have worked so hard against it, it has done a lot of unnecessary damage that is going to be hard to fix, and things can get a lot worse on top of it.
