Patel might be fired soon. Some of Trump's MAGA advisers don't like him, and have been trying to convince the President to get rid of him.

Patel was never right for this job, and he's not even particularly good at winging it.

There is some current criticism that the FBI was unable to locate Tyler Robinson despite a fairly large amount of evidence, and that ultimately he had to be recognized by his dad and convinced to turn himself in, before law enforcement learned his identity.

Additionally, some questioned why the FBI didn't release Robinson's picture right away, and also why Patel announced the "suspect is in custody", when in reality they only had George Zinn, the old man who falsely took credit for the shooting.

Also, recall he was originally given TWO jobs -- the other being ATF director, and he got fired for basically disappearing on the ATF.

Many people are also frustrated for Patel's handling of the Epstein situation, though I have to imagine that Trump himself is tying Patel's hands on that one.

He's big sad because hes just realised he wont be seeing Charlie Kirk in Valhalla.

Patel is cleaning out the FBI for Trump so dont look for him to be leaving anytime soon. Robinson was caught within 2 days. It took them 5 days to catch Mangione.

Trump has gone out of his way to commend Patel on the job he’s doing. He’s not getting fired. The freak was caught in 33 hours, 2 hours after Kash reportedly made the decision to release the video, against others wishes in the FBI community. That’s not a long time by any means.

The only reason this is even a debate is because of his misstep on reporting the guy was caught. The left media saw that as an opportunity and has run with the “he’s getting fired” narrative.

Some crackpots making up a phony association between the two doesn't make it so. There's not a shred of evidence of this, nor does the theory make much sense.


In reality, it is likely the real Epstein files contain lots of dirt on powerful people on both sides, so it's basically a stalemate which neither wants coming out. I've heard the theories that Epstein was a plant by some organization, in order to later blackmail powerful people. But that falls apart when you consider the fact that Epstein was having sex with underage girls himself -- not just providing them as a service to powerful men.

I think Epstein was just a rich pedo who was good at cozying up to powerful people, and then inviting him into his lifestyle if he felt they were up for it. I believe the files will contain a combination of "engaged in sex with underage girls" and "didn't engage in sex with underage girls, but knew what was going on, looked the other way, and kept associating with him".

My guess is that Clinton and Bill Gates are in group #1 above, Trump is in group #2, and various influential figures on both sides are in both groups. Trump probably decided it's better to take heat for not releasing them, rather than try to explain why he kept associating with Epstein despite what he knew at the time.
