Bad news in my personal life

Ive been preoccupied with terrible news on my father. Hes supposed to be vacationing in texas but we are waiting to hear back if hes passed away, alive, or in a coma. All i heard last is that he is unresponsive, whatever that means. Fuck me.

I'm actually going through something very similar with my grandfather right now. I hope we can both get some good news tomorrow.

Its just the worst feeling in the world, especially when you don't have any control or information.

I heard at about 6pm CST that my brother-in-law went to his trailer at his campground and he was unresponsive...they called an ambulance and thats the last i heard

Its now 12:25 CST (my time), and i still haven't heard a word.

Just the worst feeling in the world not knowing or able to do anything.

Sending prayers and good vibes for you and your grandfather too, Barry.

Here's to some good news for you two this weekend. I hope they both pull through and recover fully.

Gordman, I moved these posts out of the Trump thread, because I just kinda felt they didn't belong there.

Losing a parent is one of the toughest things one will go through in life. Hopefully this will turn out better than you fear.

I hope I'll be reading good news about the situation in the coming days. If not, please accept my condolences and those from all of PFA.

And Barry, while you're fortunate to have any grandparents at your age, it's still never easy, and I hope your situation turns out positively, as well.

WOW man, I feel terrible for what you must being going thru right now.... I experienced a family emergency recently and know a little bit how you feel. 2 weeks ago my mother was missing for 16 hours and it was absolute hell being on edge not knowing if she was dead etc. Such a helpless feeling. She experienced a fugue state and a good samaritan knew a 60 year shoeless white lady didn't belong roaming Bronx NY at 2:am and helped her/us.
Your situation sounds a hell of a lot scarier given the news about how your father was found. I hope god gives you and other family members/loved ones strength. Hopefully you have xanax or some type of benzo to help you relax a little.

I'm going to inbox you my # incase you want or need to chat with someone. I understand everyone handles things like this differently. Some shut down and need to be to themselves, others benefit from talking while hopefully putting the mind at ease temporarily, and many (myself included) panic and talk in circles. Call or text anytime, seriously. If I could be of some help, it would be my pleasure.

How old is your father anyways? I pray that everything turns out fine brother.
