Im not touching the NL early game. Peavy is only 7-13 but has a stellar ERA. Washington seems like the pick, but not at -179
Apparently trusting Detroits bullpen is retarded.

No, the Angels are big playoff chokers.

    Tonight is a fine example.
Speaking of chokers.....how is the 300 million dollar man doing? Cleaned up on Cardinals +175 and over!

Kershaw has a problem with the Cardinals. I don't understand it, but he does.

    Brutal (albeit very exciting) game.

    Kinda depressed right now.

    exciting?
you guys blow a 5 run lead and you find something good to say about them?

Folks this is homer language. You guys don't get the meaning of a homer when you call me one.

Kersahw is the Peyton Manning of baseball, great regular season, very very average in post season.
He was 1-3 w/ a 4.23 era going into tonight.

    Kershaw 9 days off
    Wainwright 10 days

Too long a lay off. No baseball for 4 days. No way this happens the middle of the year.

Of course it was an exciting game. Am I happy with the result? Obviously not. But looking objectively, the Dodgers were up 6-1, gave up 9 straight runs to go down 10-6, got 2 back in the 8th, and had the tying run at 3rd with 2 outs in the 9th. Puig fouled off a million pitches before finally striking out. Great game for a baseball fan, not such a great one for a Dodgers fan.

Honestly I think Mattingly gave Kershaw too much power, and should have forced him out long before he blew the lead. Also not sure why Baez was in there in that tough spot instead of JP Howell.

Kershaw doesn't have enough of a postseason history yet to judge him. His two terrible starts were against the Cardinals, who always seem to give him a hard time. This start was actually good until he ran out of gas, and Mattingly didn't have the balls to take him out. Also, I agree with the analysis that the Cards were likely stealing signs, and the Dodgers didn't realize it.

I am not ready to write off Kershaw in the postseason. I might be ready to write him off against the Cardinals, though.

    Agree.

Was also like 100 degrees and dry, so the LA weather which usually makes Dodger Stadium a pitchers' park was conducive to hitters today.

I don't think it's a coincidence that both of these great pitchers sucked today (though Kershaw's sucking was delayed).

I'd hold my nose and take GB -9 Win.... but that feeling makes me think Mini is the play +9.
Im guessing with juice and the bigger bet on Asiata rec you probably about broke even?
Thankfully Bovada capped me on Asiata so I made a few bucks. The Adams bets were disappointing.

    Updated Card for tomorrow.

    LSU Over 56
    Wazzu Over 76
    Sparty -6.5, Neb +9... shooting a middle
Bama -6 (down to 4.5 in some places)
    Baylor -16.5 (down to 15 -115)
    ND +8.5/Auburn -1.5 Tease

Im sleeping on a Miss St Play, might punch that in the AM. Also will probably add two system plays tomorrow in Ohio and Pitt (Low total games > +3 with top running teams).

While he is prob better than his #s indicate in the postseason, the sample is prob large enough to judge him as far as postseason is concerned as players don't get a ton of action here career wise. He will prob get more as the dodgers will spend big money and if they keep doing this he will have more shots to redeem himself

That said he has close to 50 innings lifetime in the postseason which is about 1/4 of a full baseball season and he has gotten lit up like a christmas tree.

And LOL @ Mattingly for not hooking him in this game

Looks like Angels are about to choke away another postseason.

Question is if the Dodgers can avoid doing the same.

The underdog is taking care of business so far this post season. The only higher seed ahead at the moment is Baltimore but they were dogs in the series vs Detroit based on the betting odds. Baseball is a like playing PLO.

Royals are the first team to open the post season with three straight games going to extra innings and they are also the first team to win them all obv.

I'm on Baylor tomorrow and will be most weeks. They only pushed a -21 line last week but they blew so many opportunities to win that game by 5 or more TDs.
