alright dish you're getting hysterical. trump botched this in so many ways it's difficult to list them all.
first, leading with healthcare was a horrible choice since it's such a tricky thing.
President Trump said: “I have to tell you, it’s an unbelievably complex subject. Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated.”
actual quote
next, trump delegated this whole thing to paul ryan and had zero involvement in the process until it was already too late. does anyone honestly believe that he even knew or understood what was in the bill? this makes you wonder if he even has policy ideas or does he just want to generally MAGA?
trump never made sure that the conservatives were on board, which led to a public humiliation after he said the bill was "wonderful," while it couldn't even pass the house.
the bill was substantively terrible. it should worry you that your savior has such bad judgment. why do you think his other bills will be better?
the house freedom caucus publicly made trump look like a bitch. they showed zero feat of retribution from him, even though this was trump's first major legislative initiative.
trump literally said that he was going to repeal and replace obamacare "immediately" in every campaign rally. this was one of his top three campaign promises and he's now conceding failure after two months... with a republican house and senate. how is that even possible? say what you will about obama, but he knew how to get obamacare passed. art of the deal tho
his next initiative is tax reform, but newsflash, that won't be easy to do either.
if nothing else, at least we'll have some batshit crazy tweetstorm coming from him at like 3:00 am about some random issue to distract from all this
