I wrote an Amaya love letter in Greedy Bastards thread.

    I absolutely love it.

Under the radar for investors & analysts. Was just a micro cap months ago. Chart is now my screensaver....

    Fuck, here I go again.....

I would reaaaallly love it to pull back a tad and digest it's recent run (it's up +$4 in a bit over a week). before buying.

It may totally run away to $40 before pulling back.

I'm waiting on a bank transfer to broker account to jump on it. Hopefully it drops in the next 2 days before I want to grab it.

Only 2 stocks I am long in. EMC & AAPL. I am short the Q's despite that. The rest I grind as a nitty scalper.

Too late for AAPL but EMC is so choice.

EMC does the data storage for the world's porn and everything else. I would sink the WPGF in EMC calls.

AYA is bulletproof against a market sell off.

My post from Greedy bastards PokerStars thread

I have never posted an stock pick for a long term hold. It is likely I never will again.

    AYA Amaya Gaming. Toronto exchange.

I trade patterns. The chart is as beautiful as it ever gets. Cup & Handle break out. Yada, yada.

Buy here or on small pull back under $36. I am still looking for entry.

No US analysts follow this thing. Was a micro cap stock on a foreign exchange 6 months ago. AYA will get some additional love soon from the banks.

Be advised the numbers are in that cheesy Canadian currency - FTPJesus is prolly on Forex now.

This is NOT a poker growth play. Regulated poker is not what we remember prior to Black Friday. The image of sites rolling in rake is over. Regulation, taxes & all the overhead for approval makes this a much tougher business IMO.

My own opinion is the days of poker pros rolling up fat stacks are done. They will (and are) being marginalized by legal sites. This is quite separate from the increased difficulty of the game play itself.

The potential acquisition of bwin.party is about acquiring sports book. Bwin does very well here - poker has been suffering, largely b/c of PokerStars.

This is all about sports betting & casino. Poker is about Spin & Go & future variants.

The earnings call on Friday statied that the casino cross sell was 30% on FTP and the coming roll out of not just casino but also sports betting to its 85million players in 2015. This is where the margins are at.

The three tiny states that may let pokerstars operate a tiny intrastate poker room sometime soon is of little concern. Online poker in the US is a tiny opportunity next to the roll out of an online casino, the roll out of sports betting, games like spin & go, and the rapidly growing social gaming is the play.

This is NOT a US poker play.

Watch & listen to Terrence Chan's video.

PokerStars software business from an economic perspective is gold. In short, building and developing the platform is very hard work, requires a lot of smart people and a lot of up-front capital investment. Once the platform is ready and if customers like the software, when revenues grow and finally exceed your usually very low fixed costs like server hosting, support personnel etc., a very large part of additional revenues becomes pure pretax profit. This is contrary to stuff like Ultimatebet where there are no such fixed cost benefits: any additional hours you sell will cost you one hour of your company's resources.

I believe Amaya is undervalued due to the high debt load AGG had to take on to acquire Rational Group. Also because there has not yet been enough time for the market to understand the whole situation, as I stated previously.

So with that out of the way, let's look at some numbers.

Assuming no changes, AYA remain status quo, extrapolating Q3 results over 4 quarters and assuming trading P/E at least 45:

    Net Earnings for Q3, 2014 = $70M; therefore EPS = 0.43; fully diluted shares = 162.7M;

    YE (2015) = Over 4 Qs would be = $280M ; therefore EPS = 1.72 M; P/E (at current ps of 35.5) = 20

Therefore, YE (2015), if we trade at 45 p/e; Stock Price of $79.80

There is some petty over sights like the fact that projections do not account for the fact that the .14 reported earnings accrued from PokerStars was for only 2 of 3 months yet reported as full quarter. Plus, they are not seasonally adjusted. Poker traffic is slower in summer.

Aside from the numbers and the business model the price action, pattern and traders emotion is paramount. This is a breakout stock with a story & headline grabbing prospects with the Party Poker potential acquisition.

    DJ -

You ever traded the US Emini or Forex?

If so... Have you ever looked into the Nadex Binary Options?

My kid (finance college) is kinda lazy about following the markets & the news. Thinking of staking him with a Nadex account. Nothing like a little gamble to get him interested.

What is different here is there is no margin.

The binaries are a derivative of the various avail. contracts.

You can fund your account with as little as $100 and your total exposure would be $100.

You can still employ strategies to realize big returns or you can scalp before expiration.

I can link some stuff if you haven't looked at this before.

Take a quick look & tell me what you think.

There are some unlisted "bookies" out there. Nadex is a listed exchange.

You don't need $25k to day trade.

    DJ

So I opened an account to get my feet wet with this Binary derivative on Nadex.

I have had about 8 hours of sleep in the past 36.

Been reading about Japan & yen so I started there. Once in, I never looked at anything else.

Been grinding the Forex US/Jpn currency pair. The dollar vs yen is at a 7 year peak. I love bubbles.

Just kept relentlessly climbing. It looked like Bitcoin headed $1200 back in the day.

Then last night around 2-3am, the trend reversed. Traders kept running dollar up right to the two hour close in a bull trap and then just destroyed the longs 2-4 minutes to close. Big red candles dropping below the bottom of my screen.

It took me a bit to catch on, they repeated this carnage over and over.

At first, I was short expecting a fib retracement, shorting then redoubling my shorts as it kept climbing - I would write everything off as lost and caulk it up to not being able to accept a loss. Then, minutes to close, traders just dumped the dollar and crucified the longs and I was a huge winner.

I never even looked at the US/Euro which was jamming in a similar fashion.

I completely luckboxed into these trades and this crazy US dollar rush just cause I wanted to learn Binaries.

PM me or post. I can walk you through setting up a demo account. If you ever want to fuck around with it.

Becoming concerned that Amaya is running away from me. It's up another buck today. I was hoping for a pullback to maybe under $36. The buying is on pretty light volume though. So maybe somebody punishes the little guy & rinses this stock with a pullback.

Amaya PokerStars is committing now to rolling out casino by end of 2015. This may account for recent run. The declining European poker numbers industry wide prolly the reason. Particularly EU countries such as France, Italy, and Spain because of ring-fencing player pools and high tax rates.

Everyone so jazzed about California legislation but nobody talks about how they will undoubtedly fuck this up on the tax side. Worried about a bump in poker rake? Idiots miss the biggest rake of all (aside from women) TAXES.

I have to take note of sports stars like Rafael Nadal & Ronaldo being signed by Stars but the poker pros getting cut. Listen up. Sports betting not poker.
