I have a suit at the Mariott Grand Chateau second week in Oct. trying real hard to arrange my schedule so i can go, so far i have clearance from the tower (wife) so thats a key hurdle. looking forward to some degenerate time off.... Vegas1369 I'm gonna need some weed or at least a couple of those vape pens. any advice would be appreciated. will be playing some golf in the mornings.

I cancelled my Vegas trip last night actually. Cosmo was like "yeah Im sure you got treated well when we were owned by Deutchbank but the new owners dont give a fuck if you stay here".

They refused to offer any sort of deal on their high end suites, they wouldnt offer points on baccarat play, only rate, and tried to use their brutally -ev poker kiosk bots as some sort of awesome novel attraction but never even considered offering me free play on them.

Plus the fucking place looks like it was decorated by 1985 era Fran Drescher on ketamine.

Ever since they decided not to provide "Do Not Disturb Signs" I stopped going. The place has really gone down hill in the last couple years.

The Cosmo was originally built to be condos, but then everything went to shit and it became a hotel. Because they were supposed to be condos, they never built in a "Do No Disturb" feature. So, they provide signs that you use instead. No problem there except on 90 percent of rooms they dont exist.

ROFL last time I stayed there, I went crazy trying to find one.

Then I walked around the floor and saw there were like 1 or 2 on the doors, which I thought was odd because it signified they still existed yet there were surprisingly few displayed.

When I called they told me they were "out" of them.

They kept promising me that they would note on the computer not to come into my room, which was tilting because I knew that nobody would be looking that shit up.

I wonder what happened to all of them. They used to have plenty.

Also now that it's August 22 already, just wait until October, and the weather will be infinitely better.

Just booked 3 nights at Bellagio with resort fees waived for this Monday for under $100 a night including tax.

Minor caveat I had to book an "accessible room"

I will see if I can get a normal king room during check-in.

It was an offer I just could not refuse.

finally rebooked this trip for next week. Taking the gf of 6 months, Ive spent more than 3 or 4 hours with her a handful of times so this should be interesting. going to mystere tuesday and carrot top wednesday, other than that I also want to check out the bellagio fountains, topgolf, raku desserts, and a luxury buffet. And that shark tank at mandalay bay looks sick, you guys think thats worth a trip?

Oh and if I can convince the lady, I will definitely try to make it down to the Rio to get a selfie with Druff or some other PFA legend (preferably not larry laffer)

TR/random musings from first time visitor to Vegas, grew up on east coast

Highlights:
Im not sure people realize how amazing it is to be able to walk around and get shitfaced with massive amounts of people like you can in LV, literally nowhere on the EC can you do anything close to that, I suppose the closest would be like Fenway Park but even there they cut you off after the top of the 7th

Holy shit the food, all you can eat Eggs Benny every day for breafast at the buffet? Yes, please. I will also take about a pound of bacon with that. IMO the Wynn buffet was far and away superior to the bellagio one, especially after doing the Wynn first which is downright stunning. Got to hit up one of Gordon Ramsays burger places in PH which was fantastic, some Mexican joint off the strip that Gobboboy raves about, In and Out burger for first time (gotta admit Id still take a 5 guys, and yes I got everything animal style) and some amazing crepe place in the paris. If I wasnt so fat and bloated from all the food/booze I would have tried so many more places, literally everywhere you go theres tons of places that look sick.

Granted I only played about 4/5 hours total at 4 diff rooms, but the 1/2 and 1/3 games seemed to play much softer to me than what Im accustomed to at Foxwoods. People actually drinking and hooting and hollering and heckling each other and genuinely having a good time, stuff you never see at the woods, only a bunch of miserable old fucks that bitch about everything. Won like $600 bucks total, highlight was flopping the nuts with 7d8d on a 5s6c9s board, dude shoved on me had a set of 9's and I held up for about 650 dollar pot. They werent pleased when a tourist hit and ran their ass but fuck em thats what they get.

Won another few hundo fucking around at the tables, actually ended up returning from Vegas with more money than I left with (granted the girl took a nice hit lol).

Lowlights:
JFC that heat. When the wind blows it feels like someone is blowing a fucking hair dryer right in your face. Brutal

For every hot chick I saw, I saw 50 fat, disgusting, tatted up, WT hogs that made me cringe. The flamingo is a fucking dump, how you guys ever allowed me to even consider staying there is beyond me, first night I check into a shitty ass room and there is a dog non-stop barking in the next room, are you kidding me? I call the front desk and try to channel my inner druff, guy comes back with an offer of earplugs but cant switch the room. What do I do? Nothing of course, I dont have it in me to fight for shit like druff, Idk how he does it but I wish I had that in me. Ended up sucking it up and cranking the AC and finally the fucker shut up. Place was utterly disgusting and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone regardless of its central location. After seeing some of the other hotels I lol at my decision in hindsight.
