Opening day coming up soon. AL East already looks like it will be the most....entertaining...division. Boston already a shitshow, with Brock Holt and Travis Shaw getting starting jobs with fat Panda on the bench. Shaw (a 26 year old who was never really considered a major prospect) also was mainly a 1B in the minors, and only played 104 games at third. Still apparently better than the corpse of Pablo now. Every Toronto-Baltimore series will be must-see TV, as it will be a throwback to the steroid era....avg score in those games should be ~ 9-7. Yankees about to be relegated to the senior league. Tampa is the one "boring" team, thus they'll probably win the division.
AL Central and West should be fun to watch also. Both ZiPS AND Pecota projection systems predict the Royals in last place again....after they thought the same last year, and then they won the World Series. The Royals might be literally breaking analytics if they do it again.
