Have you been sleeping the past 15 years? Our economy is shit. It's on the verge of collapse, we are heading toward becoming socialist/fascist at an alarming rate. I agree that capitalism would prevail but thats just not the way things are anymore. We have the government propping up bad businesses(from banks to auto companies) that would and should go under, at the expense of tax dollars instead of letting the free market stay free. Then we spend money we don't have invading countries illegally in order to "spread freedom". America will go down like Rome because of arrogance and overextending themselves.

Communism sucks i lived through it.

Capitalism is better but under the US ever changing description of it is becoming less and less what it should be.

and the reason for almost all the changes is 9:11, worked out pretty good for US government now they have there finger on everyones button, almost like they planned this.

In the most part in my country communism was not every man for himself but was more like every village for its self and new comers were generally not welcome.

i agree the USA isn't true capitalist like before but the USA isn't full blown communist or socialist like most of world is today. so the US of A will prevail as the #1 country until then(hopefully never).
