Cubs (Assad) +107 at Mets (Manaea)
Javier Assad is in his 3rd season in MLB. His ERA is 2.00, WHIP 1.00, and he hasn't had a bad start yet.
He also hasn't had a bad season yet.
However, he is constantly overlooked because his stuff isn't that great, and he has a career 150/70 K-BB ratio. But he just seems to get guys out, and never gets bombed.
Kansas City (Ragans) +114 at Toronto (Berrios)
Washington (Gore) at Texas (J. Gray) - Under 8 -118
Miami +14 -115 (+13.5 -105 ok)
Feels weird even typing this for a postseason game.
Let's go back to Sanlmar's favorite (no, not first-5)
RHE
Dodgers (Yamamoto) at Arizona (J. Montgomery) - Under 26.5 R+H+E -120
RHE is a classic. Sadly not offered on the legal books. Frankly, I looked on BOL and I couldn’t find it there either. I used to bet it there.
The Bee Game was strange. AZ Montgomery was scheduled. The bees delayed the game and Montgomery’s warm up went on and on and they decided to scratch him. He’s pitching tonight which is not without complications relative to his routine. Routine is everything for pitchers, of course. I had Monty under 3.5 strikeouts yesterday but today it’s juiced to hell at -150 tonight.
Big old Knick Knack didn’t care. He did great. In his favor though the batters on both teams were in a coma after the delay. Betts hadn’t struck out in weeks and proceeded to strikeout in his first two AB’s, for instance
I think it’s an awful spot for Montgomery and the DBacks bullpen tonight.
The elephant in the room is that AZ’s Montgomery is a lefty. Part of the problem with facing a left is that you usually don’t see them that often. The Dodgers had problems with lefties but over the past few weeks it’s all they’ve seen and they’ve actually put together a winning record vs them.
Yamamoto has been stretched out. He started at 42 (iirc) pitches and is now in the 90’s. Dodger need length out him and he’ll be fine. Given his length
I parlayed over 4 strikeouts (alt line) to bring me back to a more favorable -105 for the Dodger win.
I am not at all happy with the line action on this game. It opened Dodgers -130 last night - explored -150 and that was rejected and it is sitting -132 on some books. Ploppy Dodgers and the highest paid pitcher in history. Not happy indeed.
The under is favored generally and Druff is attacking that in a different way.
lol $Yammy$ is just a pitch to contact guy.
FML
Mentioned this in the MLB thread. I would be surprised if at the end if the year Elly De La Cruz is not at least strongly considered for MVP. Anything 15-1 or close now feels like a deal to me.
Druff and I cash on the Dodgers ✅✅.
I have to work on Ferris Buehler’s upcoming start now.
Gonna look at the Braves Dodgers series. My first series bet perhaps
Cleveland (L. Allen) at Houston (Arighetti) - OVER 5.5 +100 - FIRST 5 INNINGS (5 -130 ok)

Trying to gage the ROY markets in MLB is so frustrating. You handicapping a teams risk tolerance for a player to lose a super two year vs wanting to win more than you are the quality of the player.
If it was only talent Id swear Junior Caminerio at +2000 would be the bet in the AL. Manzardo as a backaup at 40-1 would be a hedge.
I already declared for Wood in the NL even though i bet Merrill at 40-1 pre
But like i said none of the four may see a pitch in May which is crazy
Take a look at slumping NYY vs DET Druff and tell me what you think @ +138
NYY Stroman L4: 5.95 ERA, .418 wOBA, 2.3 HR/9, 1.78 WHIP, 6.19 FIP
DET Olson without Pirates (who were fore at the time)
24 IP, 1.50 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 15.5 K-BB%
F5 or Full?
Both pens are really fine. Remove the variance and F5 +130?
Considering the DK up 2 here as well @BCR
Thots?
