The second guy Matisyahu is actually pretty popular now in mainstream circles. He started his career as a Hasidic Reggae Rapper but no longer dresses as a Hasidic Jew. Last year the drummer, Oguer Ocon, for the band Slightly Stoopid hung out at the bar in my restaurant almost daily for 2 weeks. He was dating a girl in town. He told me Matisyahu was his boy. They toured together in 2019. Slightly Stoopid is really big in the San Diego area. They are from Ocean Beach and just played to a sold out Petco Stadium a couple weeks ago. They are touring with Sublime this summer.
In 2018, three thousand Muslims and Jews who had never met got together in Haifa to sing Matisyahu’s song called One Day. It was to promote peace and was sung in English, Hebrew and Arabic.
Lil Dickey has to be the best jew rapper and he has an excellent show on Hulu
Kosher's lastest club banger. Dig the rif.
These are the OG Jew Rappers. 2 Live Jews.
En boca cerrada, no entran moscas
Hasidim but I don't believe 'em
This guy just doesn't have the voice or flow at all, absolute trash.
The only halfway decent rappers with at least some Jewish heritage are Mac Miller and as much as I'm cringing to type this, Drake. Drake had a few decent tracks 10+ years ago, but somehow has stayed relevant by being a culture vulture and outright plagiarizing other people's shit.
