So the question is did OSA pull the ad or did they shut him down?

It's going to be difficult to get anyone to send you money this way but you have to promise them more in return such as pictures of events/shenanigans that occur on the trip,etc...

A picture of yourself and telling more of a sob story actually could help since people do buy into that stuff.

You could also say you would be willing to meet a larger donator in a public place in Las Vegas as well for drinks,etc...

The first ad was too basic and 100% begging without offering any donator a reason to want to contribute. You got to sucker then in better them just saying "Hi I lost my job and want to go to Vegas so please give me money".

Ultimately, its my fault I didn't close. However, when a company scales so fast without proper management, the sales reps that work under them that need their guidance to help improve. When management doesn't provide proper feedback, the sales reps suffer.

You're better off out of a bad situation...it stinks that you spent time there when could have been building a future somewhere else...but management never acknowledges their effect on employee performance, especially if performance is below expectation because it would mean management taking blame and threatening the position they ass kissed so hard to get...

it doesn't matter how good you are at your job, if you not connected to the right power wielder in a company you aren't going up-- your boss is donkey, you're stuck and its just a matter of how long they need to tolerate you before you're broomed,...and with sales, if you not in tight with the sales manager, you won't get assigned choice accounts or given any of the solid sales leads that come to him

that's coming from 40 years of business experience in several companies ranging from Fortune 100 size to sole proprietor...bad beat dude, but move on and in the long run you'll be better off
