Obv the loss sucked for the Hawk fans but would like to get his take on the call without being results oriented. I think there was 108 passes thrown at the 1 before that one this year with 0 picks. Better chance of a RB fumbling but chances are the backs are getting that one yard before fumbling.
In hindsight it looked like Carroll was waiting for the Pats to take a timeout which they never did which burned time and I think they panicked with the call. Should have just lined up and handed it off and if pats call a timeout you can still run it.
Anyhow Tony what is your take on Bevell overall?
I have been reading some Seahawks forums and people seem to hate the guy for the most part because he is too conservative. But I think the guy uses Wilson better than most coordinators would and he gets a decent amount out of the offense for the skillsets they have. They run it well and they get explosive plays at times when Wilson is outside the pocket. The receivers are mediocre at best and that may be giving them more credit than they deserve. With a defense like the hawks have why would you want to open the offense up more? I just don't think they are capable of doing it or maybe they would but why break a broken formula.
