Royals are currently sitting at +167 for the game tonight? I dont understand that at all. KC is on an emotional high. Granted the pitching matchup seems hugely in favor of LAA and the game is in LA (kind of) but the Royals are also one of the best road teams in MLB this year, but LAA was the best home team in MLB. If this game was a pickem I throw the entire roll on LAA but +167 is a great price on KC tonight. Inversely the -187 on LAA is horrible. I dont know how anyone in good faith could fire on that line?
The teams split the season series 3-3, both taking 2/3 at their home park. At LAA Vargas went 6 1/3 giving up 3 hits and 1 run but taking the loss. Weaver oddly enough missed the Royals during both series, so he hasnt faced them this year.
