Broncos game under is the play. They will run a lot.
NBA today:
Phil/Brooklyn - Under 190 -- Two teams struggling offensively both lately and this season.
Golden State -13 vs. Cleveland (who ever thought we'd see this line?) -- Cleveland has been AWFUL lately, even losing to horrendous Philadelphia. More importantly, they are repeatedly getting blown when they lose, which is why I don't fear this -13 line like I normally would.
San Antonio -5 -105 vs. Phoenix - Phoenix getting too much credit for their recent hot play. I see SA avenging their Detroit loss last time out, and Phoenix being a bit too cocky after beating a series of weak/mediocre teams. SA has everyone back now except Leonard.
Bet all 3:
Phily/Bkn - Under 191 -115
GS -13
SA -5 -105
Damnit I knew I was forgetting something.
I wanted to fade Detroit because I thought they were finally going into that buzz saw known as Atlanta, one of the most consistent teams in the NBA.
Somehow I skipped it.
Wasn't intentional, and the Hawks are up by 8 early. Spread was only -2.5.
Twolves vs. Bucks O203
Nuggets +4
Nets/76ers looking good for under after awful 55 point 1st quarter.
134 with 30 secs left in 3rd. Not a lock but looking nice.
SA up 12 early.
No quit in this Pistons team but probably too little too late.
Considered firing on Detroit -5 at half, but didn't. Obv would have won.
NJ/Philly under scared me because of the OT possibility. 88-88 with 24 secs left, and then Nerlens Noel put one in with 4 seconds left. I knew I was in good shape because I figured New Jersey would go for a 3, meaning I win either way if they make it. Indeed, that's what they tried, missed, and the 76ers won in Brooklyn. Wow, those Nets are bad.
Spurs looked great after 1 quarter (29-18), but then got clobbered 51-30 in the next 2 quarters. They're up 24-11 in the 4th, adding up to an 83-80 Spurs lead with 3:48 left. Gonna be close.
96-92 spurs with 14 seconds left, Suns have the ball.
I need a Suns miss, intentional foul of the Spurs, make both free throws, and then another Suns miss.
98-93. 3.4s left. I tie if the Suns miss their final shot.
Dragic makes a layup with 2 secs left, Cory Joseph fouled with 0.9 left, makes both. 100-95 final.
My 5th tie in the books.
My GS pick not looking good so far, as Cleveland is up (!!) 27-21. Still early obv.
I suck at GS games. Can never get on the right side.
Sorry NBA guys but it's time to get back to a real man sport for the moment.
I just locked this in before I go to bed:
Carolina +11.5
Way too many points imo for Carolina to get. The Panthers offense is all over the place but defense has been strong lately and I haven't been impressed this year with the Seahawks offense.
I'm leaning towards Ravens/Patriots under 48 but not sure yet if I am going to go with it.
I'm going against the public today, and oddly enough it's with taking both favorites. Pats and Seahags 2 units each.
Prop land
Ravens U 20 TT
S smith U 5 X2
S smith U 66.5 X2
T Smith O 58.5 X1.5
Forsett U 64.5
Endleman O6
LeFell O 4.5
Lot of money has come in on Seattle so maybe not as much as earlier this week. pats were bet down from 7.5 earlier in the week.
One other prop where the books have it wrong is R Wilson Under 44.5 Rushing yards. carolina just doesn't give up QB rushing yards.... This is an easy 2 unit play.
Pats Ravens
Battle of the def/off lines - Pats lose
Brady has Druff kid sniffles
Most bettors taking over so I like this under.
