There are times the notion of betting big money on college kids just seems utterly ridiculous.
One of my biggest losses last year was 4 grand on Notre Dame vs BC. Of course, ND just got all retarded like the bunch of kids that they are. So I am guilty too.
My kid is a D1 pitcher and played today. They are on a 10 game road trip for spring break.
He texts me that he wants to go out to dinner with another player's parents. He asks if I would grant permission to the coach so he can leave the hotel. These are damn children.

Spurs versus Thunder tonight, I bet $330 on moneyline for Thunder.
I realize the Spurs are 31-0 at home this year, but getting +330 on the Thunder against anyone else but Golden State is just too hard to pass up.
Anyway, I realize it's still a dog bet and needs some luck to win.
Now it really needs some luck, as the Spurs have opened up a 36-27 lead after the game started off 24-22.
My problem so far has been 40-year-old Tim Duncan going 5-5 and Aldridge going 6-7.
Oh, and Durant and Westbrook are collectively 2-12.

A friend got me hooked up with this site. There's a local (within 2 hours drive) guy who is hooked into this network from what I understand. I've not asked a ton of questions, but I believe it's a large nationwide deal. Each locale has a different website they see but the format is similar. I've seen others post from the same network on PFA before.
It's a pretty sweet site, smooth interface, offers any line on almost anything you can imagine. No pay up or collect date. Started off $1k either way we'd meet (or Chiefs games as we are both STH). Now I'm up to $2500-3000 win or lose before we meet up
