yeah, I was thinking that there are several factors that would be important with him playing and not just pts scored. Leadership, motivation, skill, knowledge, how does it affect teammates, does he match up well against whomever would be covering him, compared to someone else, etc.

Per minute, Duncan is the most valuable defensive player in the NBA, and top 10 overall. The Spurs bench is historically elite, a top 3 NBA lineup in itself. Duncan's 26 minutes get capably shared by Boban, LMA, West and Diaw, all solid albeit lesser players.
Rangers at home v Buffalo, not a lock like Blackhawks these days at home but Rangers slightly better trending team, home, and better team overall.

Spurs are a good team for sure but if you blink a few times on the Warriors then you are down 10+ before you know it.
It could be a dog fight and a close game but if any team is getting blown out in this Super Bowl it's going to be Denver.
Carolina presents a series of problems for Denver more then they do for Carolina imo.
For starters did you see what Carolina defense is capable of on Sunday? They forced 7 turnovers vs. Arizona who has a way better offense then Denver does.
Denver has a QB that if he has to go one place between being a quarterback in the nfl or in a retirement home it's retirement home all the way.
Denver regular season held teams to 18.5 points per game which is only 0.8 points fewer then Carolina.
Both teams are great at stopping the run but Carolina has Cam Newton who can scramble it up and Peyton will be Mr. Predictable in the pocket just like Carson Palmer was.
The defenses are very close, especially when Carolina plays strong not collapsing in the second half which has been a weakness for them but usually when they have big leads.
I'm not thinking mega blowout like when they played Seattle but I still wouldn't be that shocked if Denver losees by 2 TDs.

I know I mentioned this a few pages back but everyone should really be checking the odds on the Iowa Caucus. The odds are all over the place for this and there are some exploitable situations.
I've been able to get $1K on trump to win Iowa at +150, and $1K on Trump won't win Iowa at +130.
Odds seem to be consistent on the donkey side and GOP NH.

Too bad all star break coming up. Will need to take a break for a week or so and see how teams handle the mid point, adjust, etc.
In my experience from capping SOG props there doesn't seem to be much change after the all star break in hockey. Teams are what they are at this point and don't change much until the hockey version of "September call ups".
That's when historical team performance can change drastically.
