Someone thought it was appropriate enough to spend 5k on camera equipment, god knows how much on casting and that lighting is hardly second rate. I'd budget that shoot at around 10k. For that to happen, a lot of people have to think it's appropriate for something.
That was an expensive commercial.
I still think it's inappropriate. It's aimed at 12 year old girls (well, them and their moms). It's not supposed to be gross out comedy for adults.
Was pretty funny, though. If that mom did this in real life, she would be arrested for child abuse.
