But the pitching thing just looks ready to implode. Not playoff ready pitching and that's what takes it down in post season. I used to think pitching when I thought of Tigers but the numbers tell another story.

i don't know much about that craig dude,...but i can vividly remember colby rasmus being moved,,and he's been pretty lousy, outside of last years fluke......lackey is a #1/2 pitcher, and pitching to an era in the 3's an the AL will translate lower, maybe much lower.
i don;t think i would have traded lackey. you can;t find pitching like that unless you pay big and offer many years..redsox miight not be able to contend next year

Tigers can score 10 runs one game and then 0 the next at the higher frequency then any team in baseball. They get cold bats for a few games in a row then all the sudden torch teams then rinse and repeat which very well could be what fucks them in the playoffs (assuming they get there) if it's not the bullpen.

Yes really! Tigers go through these horrific hitting slumps all the time and they last a few games. If they make the playoffs and do that they will be bounced out in whatever round it happens in.Song remains the same.

He ran good today. At one point I was like dang look at Cabrera go but he is having a down year for sure even if he's still hitting above .300
