well it wasn't easy but i did find a couple of articles where i guess i/we could speculate with a pretty good theory....
as Gut said above, probably to be closer stateside just in case a MLB team does make an offer.... according to these 2 articles he is only signed with the Diablos for 5 games/pitching starts and or from April 11 thru May 8....

so i agree with Gut here, and here is my theory of his actions.... pitches pretty well in Japan, he probably thinks good enough to get a call from a MLB team ( and it is IMO ).... but no call.... so signs this 5 game contract in Mexico to keep himself available and ready for a call up and being close stateside.....

i see a lot of rumors saying he is some sort of cancer in the locker room/dugout.... but i have read and seen conflicting reports about that too....??
