They tried to put out laughably bad ads for Harris last year, featuring tough-sounding narrators, muscular guys at the gym (lol), dudes fixing cars and riding horses, and guys cleaning guns, all saying they're voting for Harris. Not only didn't it work, but the ads were super cringe and everyone laughed at them.
Why? Because they were proof the Democratic Party has no idea what masculinity really is, or how to appeal to it. It's almost like watching a poor person act like he's rich, or a white person acting black, and laughing at all the stereotypes they try to hit.
The problem is that Democrats don't want to hear the real answer why men are leaving them in droves.
Masculinity is not carrying guns, working out, riding horses, fixing cars, or acting like a tough guy. These are often attributes/interests of masculine men, but by themselves they do not create masculinity.
Masculinity comes from a demeanor and attitude which often runs counter to the modern ideals of the Democratic Party. Masculinity means you can tell jokes with your friends without worrying about being called racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or Islamophobic. Masculinity means you don't worry about addressing someone by their preferred pronouns. Masculinity means that you laugh at the entire concept of microaggressions. Masculinity means you care more about taking care of your career and family more than obsessing over so-called social justice. Masculinity means that you say what's on your mind and admire others who do, and aren't constantly tiptoeing around who might find it offensive. Masculinity means realizing it's obvious that dudes are way physically stronger than women on the whole, and having them in women's sports is cheating. Masculinity means recognizing that men and women are different in a lot of ways, and embracing it rather than running away from it.
Or, if you still don't get it, watch a raunchy late 2000s movie like "The Hangover", then ask yourself how many of those jokes/gags could be done today. Then ask yourself why not.

Trump has relied on his wealth to curry favor from the old guard who are on their last tank of gas. That demographic is not long for this world and they are not leaving a blueprint to be desired.

I have never met anyone who change their car oil. I would never change a flat tire either, I call Triple A, its why I pay them $100 a year. It's 2025, nobody changes their car oil any longer, I get it your formative years were in the 70s, maybe that was the thing back then.
