Crypto exchange customers can’t access $190 million (26,000 BTC) after CEO dies with sole password:
A whole new meaning of 'cold storage'
From the main bitcoin thread:
https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-47454528
so this is the exchange where the owner died in india and no one had the password, essentially losing access to wallets holding $137m USD in customer assets.
so they hired some dudes to hack into the wallets basically.
which they did (lolsecuraments).
and they discovered that the owner had created 14 fake accounts and used them to plunder the wallets, which are now all empty.
HODL tho, amirite?

"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs

Now I really think the guy probably faked his death.
That hair tho... so quaffed
Probably got his rat face fixed/changed for say ten mill still leaves a bit to hide out on some remote private island chugging Fresca, tequila, peach floater cocktails

Lawyers for QuadrigaCX customers ask RCMP to exhume body of Gerald Cotten
"Lawyers representing the users of a bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange are asking the RCMP to exhume the body of the fund’s founder and conduct an autopsy, in order to determine whether he is, in fact, dead.
A letter dated Dec. 13, 2019, and posted on the website of law firm Miller Thomson, says that as representatives of the QuadrigaCX clients, they are asking to exhume the body due to the “questionable circumstances surrounding” Gerald Cotten’s death."

Exhumation definitely justified here. How could this be denied?
Super suspicious, to say the least.
Documentary now on Netflix: Trust no one the hunt for the crypto king.
Ummm no, let the man rest
RIP
Given Netflix's history of racially motivated hit jobs and their running interference for Arab/Muslim predators, there's no way he should be exhumed.
You see, I can just look at their faces, body language and names and figure out what's happening with a high degree of certainty, btw don't try this at home.
You'll discredit yourself and the art.
As a matter of fact, i doubt he'd be so irresponsible as to not give the password to someone else, just in case.
but
If you really must know put a 50k reward for proof he's currently alive, don't worry the money is safe. He really did die of Crohns, probably worried about
those that were wronged, being framed etc. In India he'd stand out like a sore thumb everywhere he went, it's absurd.
Let's take a look.
Obv kind hearted, honest, trusting and caring, he give you the shirt off his back. Those very same traits are what made him them such an easy fall guy.
Ok so where's the money/Crypto? Who would he share the password with, lets take a look.
OMG Open and shut case!
Just fucking with you guys, a lil bit. Still, I'm probably right.
FYI his wife really packed on the pounds.
