LOL my VIC-20 is worth less than $100.

I think my parents still have it around somewhere.

Sadly, all the programs I wrote back then were on cassette tape, and those rarely lasted a year before going corrupt, let alone 35 years.

I also have a Vic 20, complete with 2 16k memory expansions and some games on cart. I got this after my C64, just as a collectors item.

Your tapes probably do still work. It was the datasettes that needed head cleaning or adjusting. I did this on my C64 and the tapes worked like new.

Find that shit out if you can and upload it to the scene.
