well, letting manufacturing jobs go foreign resulted in lower production costs, but do you really think the cost reductions were passed along completely to the american consumer?
I sure don't---i think the widened gross profit margins went mostly to the owners of import businesses, with the net a redistribution of wealth out of the middle class and into the upper class
