They are building a replica of the ship, which will set sail in 2018.

It will not take the same route as the one where the ship sank.
It will have enough life boats and meet modern safety standards.
I had this idea almost 20 years ago, after the success of the film. Cruise lines got a huge boost in sales after the Titanic movie's success, so I figured, "Why not recreate the ship? I bet tons of people would want to take it, despite the history."
Finally it's becoming reality.
It would be perfect if it were owned by Cunard Line (which still exists, and built the original Titanic), but it's a different owner building this one.
