I really don't know how I didn't get a nod for media person of the year, it's truly baffling. Or least a nom for PFA as whole, in the media content of the year award. Did they not hear the segment we did on the Beth Shak chipset?

For anyone that doesn't know, these awards are done by the Global Poker Index people, so tweet to @gpi and let them know how disgraceful this whole thing is. I mean, I bet Jason Somerville hasn't even once had a discussion on his show about what his side order is at El Pollo Loco! Media of the year indeed...

This is a massive injustice that invalidates that award, similar to the Democratic Party being invalidated by the inevitable nomination of H. Clinton.

Poker Fraud Alert is the best poker podcast. I have tried to listen to them all, I would bet I have put in more hours on the podcast listening grind than any other poster on this site, not just poker, but in general. PFA is an elite level podcast, and the best poker podcast. Most other poker podcasts are filled with stupid advertisements and fluff interviews from two poker buddies who buy pieces of each other.

PFA should have won, but can also be glad they were not nominated by this joke of an award.

This makes two years in a row that no degenerates have been nominated for any awards...

the members of the American Poker Academy are too old and too conventional, they need to add younger and neurotic players to diversify sufficient to match the poker playing public

personally, i will protest the snub by not accepting any invitation to present an award at the ceremony
