tl;dw: Martel Body Cameras are popping up Conficker virus pre-infected in their embedded USB storage.
popular theory right now is that its an incidental infection that took place during the manufacturing/QA process, not intentional; its unlikely that anyone with the technical resources to intentionally breach and infect the Martel assembly process would rely on a piece of badware that's so thoroughly signatured in anti-virus dbs when it would take so little effort to write an undetectable one or hire someone to do so.
