Shoved two hands in a row. First one no call in late pos. Next hand I put 93k over a limp with AJo, and SB wakes up with QsQh. Runout is AhKh4hc, I fade the heart and queen, and I double to 204k. New life with 675 people left. #pfa48

I run unbelievably bad in table breaks and moves. Always ends in my blind, always moved into early pos or BB. Happened 2nd time today, this time I also lost BB at new table post flop. Down to 157. #pfa48

Middle pos opens to 22k. I put it all in 157k with QQ. He says, "I am supposed to insta-call this but not sure if I should." I am hoping to see JJ if he calls, and not AK. Sadly it was AsKs. T74 flop, one spade. Turn king. I bristle. Done.
RIVER QUEEN!!!

AQo early on final hand before dinner. "Dinner raise" likely to take it, but no.. a tight old lady calls in BB. Then flop is T94 two diamonds and she calls a smallish c-bet. Turn 3d, check/check. River 7s, she fires 45 which is almost 100% legit. Down to 201k. #pfa48

Story of this 3rd bullet: Incredible record all-in, including a few 2/3 outers. Horrendous record in hands otherwise. I'm about 2/3 of average now. See you at 6pm PT. #pfa48

All in from BB with KJo over cutoff raise and SB call for 50 each. I had about 200. Unfortunately I was against JJ in cutoff, SB folded. Horrendous flop of T high all clubs. He had Jc, leaving me 1 out. Didn't get. Out 227th.
Just missed 224th money bubble, got $4486. #pfa48

Just in case you're wondering, guy with JJ in cutoff had healthy stack and his open range was wide. I also had 9bb begun after posting blind. Shove with KJo was 100% right move. Oh well. Wait til next year...

I had nowhere to go on my dinner break, as I no longer had a room at Horseshoe or Paris. I had checked out and moved myself to a secret location, too far off to go during a 75 minute break.
I spent it with tradershky, who did have a room at Horseshoe. I told him that I wasn't going to be that disappointed if I busted, as I survived so many all-ins that losing one was inevitable. I said that the prior year's bust was much more heartbreaking, because I was near double average chips at Day 2 dinner, and then fell apart, despite having a relatively easy table.
Well, this time I made it deeper -- just 4 hands from the end of day 2, and a few minutes from the next pay jump. After dinner, I ran it up to about average stack, and suddenly I felt maybe this would be the year I go really deep. Sadly, I went ultra card dead, and there was enough preflop raising at the table to where I couldn't really make a move with hands like J3o being dealt to me constantly. Well, finally I got it in with AsTs against an old lady with a very short stack, who was on the button, while I was BB. She had 66, and I lost the hand. I did not win a single postflop hand in that stretch of hours -- just got several preflop shoves through to buy more time.
By the time I busted, it was inevitable yet disappointing, because we were down to just 227 people, and a few hands from Day 3. Guy with a lot of chips raised in the cutoff, SB flatted with some shit, and I had 9bb left with KJo in the BB. I had remembered that squeezing from the BB ran me into JJ last year to bust me, but I threw caution to the wind and did what was obvious -- I pushed my chips in, knowing that the cutoff had a wide range and the SB definitely had shit and was probably folding. Sadly, there was the JJ again, and I was drawing to two outs on a terrible flop (a non-club king) on the terrible flop.
Oh well. Didn't make a lot of money because I invested 3 bullets ($3000) into the thing, and cashed $4486.
I am 2/2 in the Seniors, though -- or 2/6 if you count the bullets invested -- and cashed in the top 2-3% both years.
I'll be BACK next year.
