High Hand refusal?

No, not the casino refusing to pay it, the player refusing to take it!
I was playing in a casino with an hourly high hand jackpot of $100. A player at my table had high hand for the hour but when the floor came to get his name, he said quietly, "I can't take it." A little later the player next to him asked him why? He said, "It's a work thing, I have a 'no gambling' clause in my contract."
Of course this opened up a discussion on how could a jackpot be considered gambling, but playing cards for money not be?
What do you think? Have you ever heard of this before? What kind of job does he have that would have such a clause in the contract? (He wouldn't say)

Couple of reasons I saw were player had excluded himself from casino and gambling also child support. This one wasn't player refusal it was site refusal. Player in foxwoods years ago hit bad beat jackpot but was unable to collect because she was underage almost six figures.
